Sprint taskboard: https://tree.taiga.io/project/morucci-software-factory/taskboard/2018-26 Regarding Software Factory: * We upgraded sf-project.io to the 3.1 candidate version in preparation of rdoproject.org migration to zuulv3 to avoid further downtime * We finally found a long running issue with bubblewrap: https://github.com/projectatomic/bubblewrap/issues/273 * We wrote a blog post to explain the difference between SF and Zuul: http://www.softwarefactory-project.io/what-is-the-difference-between-software-factory-and-zuul.html * We integrated the Openshift driver as a tech-preview and wrote a sf-ci-openshift-integration test: https://softwarefactory-project.io/r/12723 * We added 4 Zuul merger and 2 executor to sf-project.io to scale services for the rdoproject.org migration * We rewrite the wait-for-other-jobs script as a ZuulV3 native task to be able to run koji based gate job in parallel * We integrated repoxplorer 1.3.0 release to SF * We wrote a doc about resources usage for building the zuul config from resources definition * We worked on enabling the zuul configuration check in config-check and re-used the upstream patch https://review.openstack.org/#/c/574265/ * We extended the new configurations managesf's endpoint to handle the repoxplorer config * We wrote a blogpost (in review) Hands-on: Gate a first patch blog post https://softwarefactory-project.io/r/#/c/12590/ * We added openstack providers for ansible-network and tripleo-ci projects on sf.io. * We resize sf nodepool-builder instance for building images from sf, rdo, ansible. Regarding our contributions to Zuul and Nodepool: * We worked on extra-vars, ansible-tags and ansible-skip-tags Zuul job attributes: https://review.openstack.org/546474 and https://review.openstack.org/575672 * We fixed issues after upgrading sf-project.io, namely, Zuul gerrit 2.14 connection schema number needed to be cast to str, Zuul configloader was not skipping single project empty includes and Nodepool repeatedely tried to remove node in ERROR. * We continued to work on Zookeeper connection improvement to use Kazoo retry feature: https://review.openstack.org/#/q/topic:zookeeper-retry * We rebased all the extra drivers on top of the new Nodepool API and renamed OCI into RunC to be less confusing. * We investigated issue with Nodepool handling of different pools using different labels set.
