Thanks guys..

so far, I am now sending mail from my perl script, using mailx. No problems.

But I guess I do need sendmail working for the .forward to work.

This is a "blind" server", with no local users, except root. When something
strange happens, mail comes to root (locally), who has a .forward to the
internal-owner of the machine.

So, I probably will need sendmail for this forward functionality, right?
