I am able to connect using IP sec on a Solaris 9 machine (with suggested
security patches) with IP sec on an AIX 5.1 box and securely telnet, ping,
tftp, etc. When I perform a backup over the tunnel, I frequently receive an
error on the Solaris host "Dropping the datagram because the incoming packet
is secure, but the recipient expects clear" When this occurs, communication
stops. I have been able to transfer 80 or 90 mb then it stops. The phase 1
and phase 2 key lifetimes are synchronized at 2 hours on both hosts. Anyone
run across this? Any help would be greatly appreciated
