believe that PAM can do at least some of this, there is even a module that
checks for weak passwords.

Hi,
Does anyone out there know of any package, add-on
to Solaris that I can get for implementing better security with regard to
passwords. What I need is a tool that will prompt users that a password has to
be 8 chars, must include a number, letter etc, and will not let them chnage
their passwd unless they follow these pre-defined rules.
