If you are sending data throurgh the ftp (when you type bin) then the port 20 (I think was this one) has to be open in the firewall to. Becuae this is the port that is used for data transfer.

I'm pretty sure that this is a firewall issue, since I can upload successfully from other computers within the network (I can even telnet into the network and successfully transfer files from one computer to another). But our network administrator insists that the firewall is set properly.
Is there anything else within the system that we could check to enable me to be able to upload files from home?
