Greetings, I have a 2.6 box that I attempted to installed the 2.6 Recommended Cluster Patch this morning. The odd thing is that every single patch exited with Return Code 8. While Return Code 8 means that failed attempting to install a patch to a software not installed, I am concerned that every patch exited in this way.
Looking in the patch logfile I see the following for every patch: Checking installed patches... One or more patch packages included in 112542-01 are not installed on this system. Patchadd is terminating. Installing 106125-16... WARNING: /usr/sbin/patchadd is being used to install this patch. What should I do next? Is my box already up to date? Is it so behind that cluster patches won't work?
