I'm new to solaris and system administration.
I think this an obvious thing for you. I want to install gcc in solaris 2.6.
I downloaded the binary from sunfreeware:
the .gz file contains only one file: gcc-3.2-sol26-sparc-local
when i execute it it give error messages only

You should use pkgadd:
pkgadd -d gcc-3.2-sol26-sparc-local
