if you make big swap: 4 GB for example and some application use 3GB this app will work VERY inefficient, but this is depend of type of app. For example if app is little, but need ot load big area of data and will work with only little part of data this will work, but if app need to work (in a moment of time) with big part of data this will reduce many times speed of app :-(
