Yes, this method works perfectly.
But as soon as I am trying to limit the share to only one client to access the share I get the permission denied error.IE:
This share: share -F nfs -o rw -d "Share" /opt/logs works fine.
BUT, this share: share -F nfs -o rw=<client machine> -d "Share" /opt/logs give "PERMISSION DENIED" error.

2. Start the NFS Server
/etc/init.d/nfs.server start

1. create a mount point
>mkdir a
2. start NFS client
>/etc/init.d/nfs.client start
3. mount the nfs
>mount -F nfs hostname:/opt/logs /a
to unmount
umount /aTa

I am trying to setup an NFS share between server A and B.
On B I declare the share as follow:
Share -F nfs -o rw=A -d "Share Drive" /opt/logs
On A I mount the share as follow:
Mount -F nfs B:/opt/logs /mnt/B
>From this command I get the following error:
"nfs mount: B:/opt/logs: Permission denied"
Did I miss a step somewhere?
