Yes there is a tool for patch maintenance automatically an it is called PAtchPro and the last version I downloaded is the 2.2 you can look for it in the sun webpage.

I realy don;t know of un automated patch menagment tool for solaris. But
i think in the new solaris 10 there will be such a tool.
You have to do it manualy cause most of the tools need single mode.
