Use nfslogd .

Look at /etc/default/nfslogd and /etc/nfs/nfslog.conf .

Add the 'log' keyword to shares in /etc/dfs/dfstab .

Is there a way i can tell which files NFS has transferred and how often.

I'm thinking of setting up a cachefs but need some statistics to see
if it worth it.

thanks

Joan
