Hi,

I have a Solaris 9 machine at home connected to the Internet via a DSL box.

This DSL box lets me connect to it as 192.168.1.1 and my Solaris box has to
be 192.168.1.16. the /etc/defaultrouter file contains 192.168.1.1

Everything works fine and I can browse, upload, download, etc.

I also have some other machines at home on a small network which
is 10.10.19.* and this works fine.

I fitted a second NIC into my Solaris box and one NIC is set to:-
192.168.1.16 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.1.255
and the other to:-
10.10.19.8 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 10.10.19.255

I would like the other machines to also be able to "see" the Internet.

How is this possible? Should I use some kind of NAT or what? I don't
really understand how this works so would be very grateful for a bit of
help. I can change the IP addresses of my home LAN.

Regards,

Nick
