Hello Pravin, I do not assume any responsibility if these commands broke your system. You should check them against documentation in Solstice DiskSuite docs ( http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/805-5961 )
Here are the commands: bring the system to single user mode, so no one is using and noone is logging: init S unmount the metadevice: umount /logs Now the fun part - breaking metadevices: detach logging device: metadetach d4 d13 delete trans device metaclear d4 detach submirrors: metadetach d14 d94 delete mirror: metaclear d14 delete metadevices, that contain submirrors: metaclear d84, metaclear d94 Ok, now you have broken metadevices. Now you have to grow the FSes format, then edit slice table and enlarge s4 on both drives ( c1t0d0s4 and c1t1d0s4 ) after that growfs both FSes. Now you have to rebuild the mirrors and trans device: create submirors: metainit d84 1 1 c1t0d0s4, metainit d94 1 1 c1t1d0s4 create mirror: metainit d14 -m d84 attach second submiror: metattach d14 d94 get a coffee until mirrors are synchronized create trans device: metainit d4 -t d14 d13 now take a look at metastat output. Everything should be normal, and output must look exactly the same as before the procedure. That should do it, take care !
