We have a number of production solaris 9 boxes (sparc) part of our image for these boxes doesn't include NFS server packages.
We are now adding a SAN and due to our environment we now need to add the NFS server packages. We have added the packages SUNWnfssu SUNWnfssr & SUNwnfskr. What we have discovered is that the kernel nfs & nfssrv modules will not load and thus NFS server wont start.
