It works on solaris 8.

1. execute xhost on client host, let's say its name is clientABC
$ xhost +

2. on xserver host, set Display variable to the client host. Export the
variable if needed.
# export DISPLAY=clientABC:0.0

Subject
[Solaris-Users] xhost+ on Solaris 8

Can anyone please explain if xhost+
will work on Solaris 8.

I'm logged in as root and I'm trying to execute a java app as another
user.
I need to be able to write to the "Xserver"

Thanks
Karl
