Hi i am stuck on the setup of solaris containers.I am pretty familiar with the
configurations of solaris containers/Zones but what is confusing me is the
foolowing and i am requsting for some help.
-----I have two sun v440 each with 4 HD----> 36 GB each.
Each v400 has 8 GB of RAM
-----So i want to allocate CPU of 2 GB each for the two non-global Zones i
will create for my Oracle DB.
-----The Global zone will also have more 4 non global zones which require CPU
allocation for each non global zone.
-----I want do the same for the other second sun v440 server.
-----Last i will need to also Allocate some Storage space from each of the
four Hard disks in each sun v440 for the Solaris containers i will be
creating.Oracle DB will take 30 gb of each disk.
1) How can i create the zones and allocate CPU resources for oracle and also
2) How can i also create Fair shares for Oracle and other Applications.
