Hi All, I want to run NIS server over IPv6 protocol on Solaris 10. I've configured one solaris box as NIS server and other solaris box as NIS client and able to retrieve NIS information among two over IPv4. I want the same scenario to be executed over IPv6 protocol. So, I've configured the interface with IPv6 address. But I want to know, whether RPC bind / NIS server opens the socket over IPv6 or not? Also, is it possible to run natively IPv6 for their communication by disabling all IPv4 addresses on those 2 boxes? Any help regarding this, will be useful.
