I've been getting a strange error out of the sar data collector: sadc: can't lock data file: Resource temporarily unavailable
It's happening on the cronned runs of /usr/lib/sa/sa1, and more specifically on the hourly one: 0 * * * 0-6 /usr/lib/sa/sa1 Sar and sa1 both seem to function correctly when run by hand. Has anyone else encountered this problem? And does anyone have an idea of what is causing it or have a fix?
