List,

I have a Sun Fire V20z server with a RAID 1 array configured using the
onboard LSI mpt card. It appears that after every shutdown/reboot, on
bootup, the system gives me a messaage about volume 0 is
"enabled||resyncing||degraded". I see the light on the drive to the right
(drive 1) is lit, so I know this must be the drive that is resyncing.

raidctl output is as follows:

[r...@fire1 ~]#raidctl -l
Controller: 1
        Volume:c1t0d0
        Disk: 0.0.0
        Disk: 0.1.0
[r...@fire1 ~]#raidctl -l c1t0d0
Volume Size Stripe Status Cache RAID
        Sub Size Level
                Disk
----------------------------------------------------------------
c1t0d0 68.2G N/A SYNC OFF RAID1
                0.0.0 68.2G GOOD
                0.1.0 68.2G GOOD
[r...@fire1 ~]#
[r...@fire1 ~]#cat /etc/release
                       Solaris 10 10/08 s10x_u6wos_07b X86
Copyright 2008 Sun Microsystems, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

                            Assembled 27 October 2008

It shows that both physical disks are good, but I don't know why it keeps
doing this. I am not sure what else to check.

And yes, I did wait for it to finish resyncing before shutting down again.

Any and all help is apreciated.
