what version of solaris 10 are you using? (see /etc/release). "snv"
mentioned above refers to Solaris SXCE (just EOL'ed) and to opensolaris.
i can not seem to find a precompiled version for solaris 10 (maybe
someone on the list can say if there is a package somewhere available).
you may get the sources
(http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/gnome-python/2.28/gnome-python-2.28.0.tar.gz)
and try to compile them yourself.
