Dear All My Solaris 8 server always stops on the 'ok>' prompt when I reboot it and I have to issue the 'ok>boot disk' every time after reboot . I checked its 'printenv' variables and I found that the 'boot-device' is set to 'disk' and its 'auto-boot?' set to 'true' . Can you please let me know how can I set it to automatically boot from the disk without the need to manually issue the command ? If I issue 'ok>boot' it will try to use its onboard transceiver as if its 'boot-device' is set to 'net' . Please let me know why ? Thank you in advance _______________________________________________ Solaris-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/solaris-users __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4978 (20100326) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4978 (20100326) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com _______________________________________________ Solaris-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/solaris-users
