I doubt it will work on windows 98, it has been many releases since it worked
on such an old version of windows. Which version of Solfege are you trying to
install?

Dear Tom,
Thanks for your reply. The first version I downloaded was 3.10.4. When it was
installed it came up with the MS-DOS icon rather than an icon of its own. So,
if my computer thinks it's an MS-DOS file, it opens it in an MS-DOS window.
The next one was version 3.11.1. This comes up as a little blue and yellow
icon in a sort of rotationally symmetrical shape. When I open it, it doesn't
open. Nothing happens. Zilch.
Is there an older version that will run on MicroShit Windows 98SE?
