New issue 219 by [email protected]: sing chord doesn't work as expected
http://code.google.com/p/solfege/issues/detail?id=219

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. use the "sing chord" exercise

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

expected: the root of the chord is played. when "play answer" is clicked
the user hears the chord tones in ascending order.

actual: A4 is played. when "play answer" is clicked, the chord tones are
played out of ascending order (this part of the behavior is already
addressed in another bug).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

3.18.7, ubuntu lucid lynx

Please provide any additional information below.

the exercise as it exists may be useful, but it is inconsistent with
the "sing intervals" and "chords in root position" exercises. in "sing
intervals" the root is played and the user must find the second tone.
in "chords in root position" the chord tones are played in ascending order
and the user identifies the chord. for consistency, "sing chords" should
play the root and then the answer should play the chord tones in ascending
order. the current "sing chord" exercise should be renamed to better
describe the exercise and a new exercise should be created to work as
described here.
