Hello!
Which version of Solfege do you use?
Is there a reason why you want to use an external midi player program? You
get this message because Solfege cannot find the program you have entered
as external midi player program in the preferences window of Solfege. Press
Ctrl-F11 to open it. Select "External programs" and check the path to the
program.
You can also try to use the builtin midi in ms windows. Select "Windows
multimedia output" on the "Sound Setup" page of the preferences window. You
might have to try different devices from the drop down menu.
