Solfege on Gtk+ 3 is now pretty usable. It runs both on Debian stable and
MS Windows, while you still need to do a checkout with Git.
As stated on http://http://gitweb.solfege.org/?p=solfege.git;a=summary:
It is quite easy to run Solfege on linux from a git checkout if you have
everything you need installed:
git clone http://git.solfege.org/solfege.git
cd solfege
./autogen.sh
To build the documentation, you need more stuff, like DocBook and LilyPond
installed, and then run make.
The road forward will probably be like this:
* source tarball release for linux
* nightly source tarballs created from the git repository
* ZIP-file for MS Windows
* Installer for MS Windows
As you all have seen from the last few years lack of progress, I will not
give you a timeframe for this.
