Ohh, I'm sorry. This is my fault. I'm technically the maintainer of the 
macports port, because I made it to begin with. When I made it I didn't 
really know what I was doing, but I got lucky and it worked. And then 
Tom Cato made some improvements to the code, and I couldn't figure out 
how to compile it on my mac anymore, much less update the macports port. 
Rather than do the smart thing and ask for help, I just stuck my head in 
the sand. Then I think someone else tried to update the macports port to 
a newer version of solfege and it didn't work. Anyway, I sincerely 
apologize for the state of solfege on mac. However, I'm a lot better at 
programming than I was a couple years ago, so I do hope I can untangle 
things this summer.
