Mike Klaas commented on SOLR-216:
---------------------------------
I just noticed that I changed my own python query code to POST from GET two
months ago, but I can't remember why at the moment. It is possibly due to url
length limitations (occasionally I was passing a lot of data in the query
args), but that doesn't seem quite right now. Changing to GET makes sense to
me (though rapid updates are still a potential problem--perhaps it would be
worth recommending against persistent connections on linux).
