these changes look good to me..  

If we change SolrRequest to an abstract super class, there is probably no good 
reason to also have RequestBase.

While we are at it, should SolrResponse change to an abstract class?  I can't 
think of any reason it would need to be an interface.  (I think we should keep 
SolrResponseBase as is)
