Do you guys have any concern with such an approach? I am not only
thinking technically (your lights are more than welcome), but more
broadly with the concept of "code borrowing".
You know solr is ASF license, you can "borrow" as much as you want, just
go nuts with it. ;)

But there is a difference between having the legal right (which I
have thanks to the ASL) and the moral right. So I figured I would
send a mail to see how you guys perceive that.
From my spot in the room, I don't think there would be any issues -
and it would be very useful to be able to leverage Solr's
analyzer/filter support in Hibernate Search.
