It looks like the recent work on playing nice with external HTTP caches
(SOLR-127) will need to be aware of the timeout condition. I do not think a
timeout should be cached. Currently an "HTTP/1.x 304 Not Modified" is
returned. I'll try to work this into my next patch update.
