jscalendar.js is LGPL so I am not sure if it can be included into Solr.
The latest patch does not apply cleanly to the trunk. After I manually fix
things. The reuters example now works for IE8. But I am still getting one
error for IE7:

Error: Expected Identifier, string or number
But if I ignore that error, the auto suggestion and searches do seem to work
correctly. It is an improvement since those were not working before.
