Anup, Committership on Apache projects is "by invitation". If you wish to participate in the community, I'd suggest you pick a JIRA ticket and work on it. Start making contributions via JIRA, and after a while, if you keep that up, your efforts will be noticed and you will be invited to participate as a committer. Upayavira
