Hi all I am looking for ways of having the functionality of https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-1997 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-1997> on Solr 5.X. Is there an alternate way to achieve this rather than creating the field type suggested by SOLR-1997? If not possible would you be able to suggest references for adding custom field types to Solr 5.X?
