I wonder who is using the Analytics contrib? Why do you use it instead of other Solr features like the JSON Faceting module that seem to have competing functionality. My motivation is to ascertain if it ought to be maintained as a 3rd party plugin/package or remain as a 1st party contrib where Solr maintainers continue to maintain it.
