If I understand correctly, 1. You want to query for tagList:a AND tagList:b AND tagList:c 2. At the same time, you want to request facets for tagList but only for tagList:a and tagList:b If that is correct, you can use the features introduced by https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-911 However you may need to put #1 as fq instead of q. -- Regards, Shalin Shekhar Mangar.
