I'm not a Highlighter expert, but this is somethign that certainly *sounds* like it should be easy.

I took a shot at it and this is hte best i could come up with...

...however the fragments still wind up wider then it seems like they should based on the regex & slop. I have no idea why.

I've seen enough people with this request htat it seems like there should be a built in fragmenter/formatter option for it in Solr, so i opened a feature request...
