Hi Gastone,
I used to do that in standard search handler using the following parameters:
q={!boost b=query($qq,0.7)} text:something title:other
qq=date:[NOW-60DAY TO NOW]^5 OR date:[NOW-15DAY TO NOW]^8
that enabling custom recency based boosting.
