It sounds like that could be a bug. Could you provide some details on how you're building your dictionary (config snippets), and what parameters you're using to query, etc. ? Your jvm settings and a rough estimate of how big your index is would be helpful too. It would be nice to try and figure out if this is a bug and if so, then try and fix it.
