Hi,

Are you really using letter tokenizer? You should see LT as abbreviation in 
analysis page.

      <fieldType name="letter" class="solr.TextField" 
positionIncrementGap="100">
         <analyzer>
          <tokenizer class="solr.LetterTokenizerFactory"/>
         </analyzer>
      </fieldType>
