It was me :-). As far as I can tell I do not have it loaded. I switched it
off that time and never switched on again.

I have several predefined playlists which I am changing or from within
Sonata or using my mobile phone (attached via bluetooth a communicating
through program called anyremote) Sometimes (not always) when I load the
playlist using my mobile phone (mpc load 01Primero), Sonatas current
playlist window goes blank (showing no songs). The songs (from playlist
01Primero) appear again when I do Sort by... Nevertheless this does not
happen always, only sometimes. I will try to reproduce it with some terminal
output when I get back from vacationes.
