Thanks, I think there are some fixes in the bios for the video hot switch in
windows 7 and I hope the diff between the dsts' would suggest what windows uses
for the hot switch if it's via acpi at all.
I'm pretty certain the current sony-laptop switching model cannot work without
cold reboot because it's based on the old hardware switch model which you can
just enable in the bios.
