Ok... I didn't look in the header file... One does need the:
Deprecated /proc/acpi/event support
CONFIG_ACPI_PROC_EVENT
Could you maybe be so kind to put this info in the README or INSTALL or
something?
---But as I stated before: The FNF6 does get passed along without this kernel option using the input layer ... I am now looking into this because I think it would be nice if the module would not use deprecated code :)
... because the linux kernel help (maybe outdated/wrong?) for this option states: Say N here if your userland is newer than Sept. 2007 ;)
