Hi. I've had Ubuntu dual booting with Win7 on my machine for a while, but was never able to get the nvidia to work. I tried the janitor script once and it killed the Ubuntu. I've now been using F13 a while and think the machine needs a fresh install of both OSs, but this time I'm hoping to have the nVidia (and hopefully other features of the vaio z including graphics switching) working. I'm not a linux guru, but I'm not a newbie either, could anyone please recommend a place where there are clear steps of doing this. In the process of doing this I've seen many people flash the bios with a hacked version, is that necessary/safe? Thanks.
