I just decided to move to arch and have been experimenting with it. (very recent Z model) Following the arch-wiki gives pretty good results. Since arch is using a kernel 2.6.38 there are no problems bringing up the intel video card. I haven't worked on the video switch yet though. Right now I'm trying to make the sound work.
