Hi all, I'm new to this list, thank you very much for all the documentation you have posted so far. I had a few questions about the touchpad handling. I found the synclient configuration script that was posted here, and it surely improves things. So far I've tried two different debian installs, one debian squeeze (kernel 2.6.32) and one debian wheezy (kernel 3.2.0). Under squeeze, the behaviour is as expected, clicking on the right part of the pad is handled as right click. Under wheezy, any click is handled as left click. The difference between the two I believe is the usage of the synaptics driver, since in the squeeze version, synclient finds no loaded synaptics driver. I've tried looking for differences in the /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d folder, the evdev files are identical, and the synaptics file of the wheezy install only shows an additional InputClass identified by "touchpad ignore duplicates".
Do you have any idea on how I could reproduce the behaviour of the squeeze install on the wheezy one ?
