Voice of Russia August 20, 2010 Kosovo government threatens violence against Serb rebels The Kosovo government says it may resort to violence if Serbs attempt to declare independence in the north of the region or join Serbia, stated Kosovo's Interior Minister Bajram Rexhepi. He said, Kosovo has already briefed the International Civilian Office headed by Pieter Feith on the situation. The statement was a commenton the so-called Independence Declaration of Serbian Territories in Kosovo published by the Association of Municipalities of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija in local papers.
