Note that an ATX motherboard only contains the circuitry for the rear panel jacks. The jack detection circuitry for the front jacks is located on the front panel itself--and may be missing. For instance, I have a board here where the codec supports jack detection on all pins, and the motherboard does, but it still doesn't work for front mic/hp, because the front panel that came with the case doesn't seem to support it. -- Christian "naddy" Weisgerber [EMAIL PROTECTED]
