If 'we' are using the install script to make life as easy as possible for users, how about remembering the install ftp/www server, and setting it as a default in system/root's dot profile ?

e.g.:

r...@xyz ~>grep PKG_PATH .profile
export PKG_PATH=ftp://ftp.$location.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/$ver/ packages/$arch/
r...@xyz ~>

/Pete
