Some time ago in "Future of ccd(4) and raid(4)?" Matthew Dempsky asked if softraid can do what ccd does. I replied to him that I have a setup of two concatenated disks: [09:06:ttypc][akfaew@spock:~:1]$ cat /etc/fstab /dev/wd0a / ffs rw,softdep 1 1 /dev/ccd0a /home ffs rw,nodev,nosuid,softdep 1 2 /dev/wd0d /tmp ffs rw,nodev,nosuid,softdep 1 2 /dev/wd0e /usr ffs rw,nodev,softdep 1 2 /dev/wd0f /var ffs rw,nodev,nosuid,softdep 1 2 [09:07:ttypc][akfaew@spock:~:2]$ cat /etc/ccd.conf ccd0 0 none /dev/wd1d /dev/wd0g The disks wd1d and wd0g are of different sizes. At that time softraid couldn't do this. Has anything changed since then? -- Michal Mazurek
