saying that WPA is the de facto standard does not mean, or imply, that it is not somehow a real standard (whatever that means). WEP is a real standard too. WPA is the de facto encryption standard for wireless networks. now our pages say: WPA is the encryption standard for wireless networks. that is wrong, because there is no emphasis on the word "the" (and even if there were, it would be too subtle). now we have a sentence that could easily be interpreted to mean there are no other encryption methods for wireless. if you really hate how it was worded so much, i suggest you at least change it to "the recommended standard", or somesuch. jmc
